- What is your name, job title and location (branch)?
Sarah Bailey, Senior Sales Executive, Biddulph (G R Plimbley)
- How long have you been working in insurance for?
25 years (inc 22 at Plimbleys and 2 at County)
- What does your job entail?
It is varied, everything from dealing with new client queries and quotations, to adjustments, renewal invitations, taking payment for renewal and new business and issuing cover and claims. Mainly personal lines but also a little commercial.
- How did you get in to insurance?
Saw a job advertised in Newcastle and then this one in Biddulph which was local. I loved the job so much that I am still here.
- Favourite part of the job?
The variety, you never know what will walk through the door and most of our clients are so friendly that it makes it the job enjoyable.
- What is it like being part of The County Group?
Whilst we still have the branch and the friendliness of the clients, it is like being part a large family. Everyone within the organisation are so friendly and helpful. It also means that we have access to more products than before.
- Why should potential customers take out their insurance with you?
Being local means that we can assist the clients on a face to face basis. As we deal with at least 17 companies, we can check the market out and obtain competitive rates on their behalf.

Salvation Army (SAGIC) on household, RAC cover, taxi insurance, property owners with Lexicon, un-occupied with Lexicon, Farm Insurance with BIB.
